A frequent check of tire pressures is one of the most important maintenance functions you can perform on your motorcycles or ATVs.
Underinflated tires can result in poor handling, premature wear, fatigue cracking and/or potential tire failure.
Proper recommended air pressures are listed on the manufacturers plate on all motorcycles, in your owner's manual, or are available from your local dealer.
Check cold tire pressure frequently with an approved, quality guage. Most importantly, visual inspection of tires should be done every time you plan to ride your motorcycle or ATV.
Look for foreign objects on the tread surfaces or low tread depths (via tread wear indicators).
